Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or Master’s program at an accredited college or university
  • Must be available to intern either Jan through Aug 2026 or July through Dec 2026
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Committed to completing all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines
  • Able to identify and report quality or compliance concerns and take corrective action as needed
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (GE HealthCare does not sponsor employment visas for this role)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in design engineering or manufacturing
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), though all applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
  • Proven adaptability in challenging situations
  • Leadership experience and community involvement

Responsibilities

  • Improving supplier quality performance by analyzing and communicating defect data
  • Supporting supplier compliance with GE HealthCare’s Quality Management System and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with sourcing and engineering teams to manage supplier and engineering changes
  • Driving quality improvements to reduce Failed on Arrival/Install (FOA/FOI) issues, field failures, and factory defects
  • Participating in supplier selection and qualification processes
