Requirements

  • Ability to work night shift (5pm - 5:15am, 12-hour shifts, 3-2-2-3 format) in a 24/7/365 operation
  • Transition initially to day shift for training and onboarding before moving to night shift during startup
  • Functional and technical leadership skills for utility operations team
  • Knowledge of cGMP compliance, site procedures, and inspection readiness
  • Ability to respond quickly and proactively to changing priorities
  • Full knowledge of building monitor system (BMS) for troubleshooting
  • Experience or ability to participate in system Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Capability to escort contractors and ensure training requirements are met

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of all utility operations and monitor compliance with cGMP
  • Ensure equipment and systems are available, maintained, and repaired to applicable standards
  • Assure compliance with site procedures
  • Facilitate and communicate site utility events
  • Monitor and report utility system performance to site stakeholders
  • Act as responsible lead for coordinating and executing site utility operations
  • Support equipment failure investigations and/or root cause analysis for utility systems
  • Lead a safety-first, quality always utility operations team during pre-startup, startup, and post-startup phases
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Facility Delivery (GFD) to support project delivery
  • Participate in system verification (commissioning and qualification), including startup, shakedowns, initial/operational verification, and equipment qualification
  • Act as point of contact for utility escalations and system communication
  • Supervise direct reports in planning, implementation of duties, and development of goals/objectives
  • Ensure consistent work practices and application of utility operations best practices
  • Maintain facility in inspection readiness state for internal and external audits
