Requirements

Preferred field(s) of study: Business, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, and any related fields
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
Demonstrated enthusiasm for the mission of NYCEDC
Demonstrated written, verbal, and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in using database and presentation tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM and complete the entirety of the 10-week program

Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with tasks to manage and administer portfolios of economic development agreements
Read transaction documents to determine project requirements and covenants
Obtain and analyze required reporting documents in order to verify client compliance with various project requirements
Maintain and update the Compliance database
Maintain files and draft correspondence/memos documenting client compliance, defaults, and corrective actions
Prepare and conduct site visits to inspect construction progress that is compliant with project agreements
Contact portfolio project contacts via phone and email
Other duties as assigned
