Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (junior or senior status preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of high voltage substations, including electrical installation design and protective relaying and control (PR&C) design with an emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Assist in the preparation of one-line diagrams, electrical installation plans, section views, and details
  • Assist in the preparation of panel elevations and PR&C schematic, wiring, and interconnection diagrams
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations
  • Assist in the preparation of construction drawings
  • Assist in the preparation of construction specifications, project documents, and bill of material lists
  • Attend site visits if possible
  • Assist Project Managers
  • Maintain a safe working environment
