Responsibilities

Work closely with managers and team members to understand Target’s retail business and excel in a management role
Spend majority of time leading amongst the team, identifying and working towards store priorities, and delivering great guest service
Learn to drive guest experience and impact store’s financial, team, and operational performance
Work alongside a mentor, learn how they lead their department, and step into leading the mentor's department with guidance
Lead and motivate a team, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide exceptional guest experience
Participate in ongoing developmental conversations and support execution of daily operations by working beside team members
Build culture and guide team to grow and achieve goals
Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading amongst team members and aligning the team on daily business priorities
Gain experience in guest service fundamentals, building and managing a guest-first team culture
Engage guests, problem-solve, and resolve issues
Learn retail business fundamentals
Set and plan department monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities and manage team to deliver service and sales goals
Manage a team of hourly team members and team leaders while creating business strategies and goals
Recruit, select, and manage talent for hourly team members and leaders
