Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for math and fundamental math skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Computer literate in Microsoft suite and online systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., warehouse/transport admin, inventory controller)
  • Sound understanding of warehousing, shipping, and distribution processes
  • Current Australian forklift licence (LF) preferred
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Able to take initiative and work within company procedures
  • Physically fit and capable of physical lifting of stock (25kg) as required
  • Ability to liaise with a variety of people (customers, transport/shipping companies, teams/functions)
  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Able to undergo National Police History check

Responsibilities

  • Inventory management: Monitoring incoming purchase orders and container unpacking for the Branch
  • Monitoring pending stock transfers and consignment stocks
  • Checking store reports, entering stock, and reprinting store reports
  • Organising and writing consignment notes
  • Conducting stocktake, analysing, and investigating stock discrepancies
  • Organising product and stock within the warehouse
  • Raising stock conversions and stock transfers for conversions
  • Raising transfers for the return of empty intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) from customers
  • Investigating and resolving quality problems in ERP systems
  • Printing and despatching Emergency Information Panels (EIPs)
  • Stock checks and locations
