Requirements

  • Four to six months Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse Environment experience preferred
  • Able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 60 pounds
  • Adequate fitness level for frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Able to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements
  • Willing to perform shift work, including overtime, weekends, and/or holidays (2nd shift positions available)
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers and management

Responsibilities

  • Retrieves and places merchandise in pick slots and/or totes for placement on the conveyor using proper lifting and safety procedures
  • Cuts boxes to fit slots without damaging merchandise using proper knife safety procedures
  • Matches item numbers, FDS packs, and case count against RF Guns, Computer Screens, or Slot Assignment Worksheets/Labels to ensure correct merchandise is stocked
  • Achieves set standards (engineered or productivity) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Ensures merchandise is accessible to Order Fillers to maintain consistent workflow and minimize downtime by pushing merchandise forward in pick slots
  • Notifies management of merchandise damages, overages, shortages, and slot adjustments as needed
  • Fills in and assists with order filling duties as time permits
  • Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety
  • Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Repack department
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
