Responsibilities

  • Reviews, stores, and thoroughly comprehends store orders, including item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed for all orders
  • Picks and prepares cut box tops and plastic from inner packaging for needed cases of product, placing items in a designated location for collection
  • Maintains an elevated level of accuracy for merchandise stocked, to maintain full compliance to departmental performance standards
  • Maintains consistent cleanliness of all work zones at the end of each shift to effectively adhere to departmental quality standards
  • Cross-trains employees in stock distribution as well as other associated warehouse duties to build team capabilities and efficiencies
  • Works to maintain a safe working environment by consistently following safety guidelines and adhering to warehouse safety standards and requirements
  • Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure working areas and aisles are clear of debris, to maximize safety standards and assist in reducing accidents
  • Monitors day-to-day warehouse activities and operation flows, escalating any exceptions or safety concerns to immediate supervisors for swift resolution
  • Perform other duties as requested by the department lead/supervisor and or manager
