Requirements

Candidates must possess an MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience, or a BSc in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience. A strong foundation in fundamental statistical concepts and methods is required, along with familiarity with techniques such as predictive equations, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, meta-analysis, network meta-analysis, population adjusted indirect treatment comparisons, and utility analyses. Strong statistical programming skills with standard software like R, STATA, or SAS are essential. A background in epidemiology, HEOR, or HTA is considered a great asset. The candidate should demonstrate sound professional judgment, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and effective written communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Statistician will provide statistical input on Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) projects, contributing to the development of statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and executing analyses according to SAPs and SOPs. They will be responsible for identifying and communicating data issues, peer reviewing analysis results, and preparing initial drafts of reports and presentations summarizing findings. This role involves communicating with internal and external clients, participating in meetings, and providing insights on data to senior statisticians. Additionally, the statistician will support proposal development, including background sections, statistical tasks, and budget estimations for familiar project types, while also being responsible for achieving utilization and sales targets.
