Responsibilities

As a State and Local Tax Internship, you will be responsible for preparing state and local income tax returns for various entities, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, alongside preparing related work papers. You will also be involved in preparing indirect state tax returns, responding to technical correspondences from taxing authorities, identifying accounting and income tax issues, and proposing resolutions. Furthermore, you will complete projects within established timelines and budgets, and learn to utilize firm tax preparation software effectively.
