Responsibilities

Architect and build foundational systems, combining software engineering with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and observability to deliver infrastructure abstraction and core services
Refactor for scalability and maintainability: identify technical debt or fragile architecture, lead refactoring to simplify code, improve performance, and enable faster iteration
Continuously enhance core systems design to support evolving business needs without unnecessary complexity
Define and drive technical strategy: partner with engineering and product leadership to define long-term technical roadmap and make critical decisions shaping developer experience
Solve ambiguous, high-impact problems by breaking down large-scale challenges into actionable plans
Elevate the engineering bar: act as technical mentor and role model through code reviews, design discussions, and championing best practices
Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive technical alignment across engineering, product, and design teams
Champion innovation and pragmatism: explore, prototype, and advocate for new technologies (including AI-powered automation for code writing, testing, and deployment) while balancing speed and sustainability
Modernize and refactor foundational domains to ensure core services are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term architecture vision
Evolve internal developer platform and enhance overall developer experience
