Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of software development experience building and testing applications with secure coding practices, hands-on collaboration on a team developing commercial software projects in cloud-native Java, proficiency in server-side Java applications using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Reactor-Core, current cloud technology experience with AWS (Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, MKS, Lambda), a working understanding of microservices, event-driven techniques, and data pipelines, proficiency in SQL and NoSQL data access, familiarity with async messaging systems like Kafka, NATS, SQS, and RabbitMQ, recent experience managing PII/secure data, and familiarity with CI/CD processes and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will contribute actively to software engineering teams focused on building API-based systems delivering secure and efficient solutions within specified timeframes, develop scalable and reliable systems supporting consumer and data-centric products on an AWS cloud-based platform, integrate 3rd Party and Internal APIs, manage deliverables from brainstorming to production operationalization, lead, mentor, and collaborate with other team members, observe and maintain standards for Regulatory Compliance and Information Security, and maintain accurate documentation.
