Requirements
- Comfortable with system design, architecture, deep technical Linux, networking topics, and distributed architectures
- Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of teams
- Enthusiasm for digging deep into technical problems
- Strong technical communication, prioritization, and organization skills
- Expertise in systems engineering and software development (SRE blend)
- Knowledge of automation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring systems, continuous profiling, tracing, and policy management
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to development of Policy Manager (AI-driven platform for governance and control of production changes), including building policies and onboarding teams for containerized and VM-based applications
- Manage on-call rotations to monitor and minimize Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) for SRE services
- Develop and scale server clusters through automation, containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring systems
- Drive service reliability by establishing and maintaining critical Operational Indicators (SLIs and SLOs), setting alert guidelines, and managing error budgets proactively
- Partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose, investigate, fix, and prevent complex outages and issues in large-scale distributed systems
- Design, build, and maintain tools to improve performance, latency, availability, scalability, and overall system reliability of applications and services
- Conduct root-cause analyses, capacity planning, and software performance analysis
- Influence large-scale architectural decisions and design cutting-edge solutions for resilient, robust, scalable infrastructure
