Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, DevProd, or similar roles, demonstrating the ability to mentor and guide technical teams. Expertise in CI/CD best practices and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CircleCI is required, along with strong programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go. A solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and proven project management abilities are necessary. Previous experience enhancing developer productivity through tooling and automation, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills and experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) and incident response practices (PagerDuty, IncidentIO) are also required. Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Pulumi, Terraform) is desired.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate reliable, frequent software deployments. You will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and reduce friction in the development lifecycle. You will develop automation tools and processes to significantly improve developer experience and productivity, monitor and manage software releases, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery from disruptions, lead incident management and postmortem processes, and provide technical mentorship and leadership, promoting best practices and fostering team growth. You will also maintain clear documentation for release processes and infrastructure systems.
