Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in a Test role
  • Strong experience with AWS including but not limited to Lambdas, ECS and IOT Core
  • Strong command of UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces, from an administrative perspective
  • Strong experience with NodeJS, Typescript, Vitest, Mocha, Playwright, Github Actions, and Git
  • Demonstrated expertise with and understanding of containerization including Docker, Docker-compose, and Kubernetes
  • Demonstrated expertise with infrastructure as code with Terraform and similar tools
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain tests and test pipelines in GitHub Actions
  • Triage and maintain automated regression tests as well as performing manual tests as needed
  • Raise defects to your Product Team and file tickets with appropriate information in Jira
  • Collaborate with Product and Community teams to automate the validation of features
  • Provide feedback on new system features, advocating for testability and ease of automation
  • Identify opportunities to improve test capabilities and procedures to achieve increased efficiency in the validation of various Cloud and virtualized configurations
