Requirements

5+ years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test roles, with 3+ years focused on desktop application testing for Windows OR Mac platforms
Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or custom frameworks designed for desktop applications
Strong programming skills in Python/Java/Javascript, with the ability to write reusable test suites targeting OS-specific functionality
Deep understanding of OS-level tools and debugging techniques (e.g., Sysinternals, Console.app, Process Monitor) to test and analyze system-level behavior
Demonstrated ability to lead test planning, automation, execution, and reporting for large-scale enterprise applications
Proven experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines with efficient test integration (preferred)
Knowledge of browser extension testing and integration using frameworks like Puppeteer, Playwright, or TestCafe (preferred)
Familiarity with tools for performance profiling, stress testing, and fault isolation specifically for desktop applications (preferred)

Responsibilities

Taking ownership of the design and implementation of robust, scalable testing frameworks for desktop applications on Windows or Mac
Leading the creation of end-to-end test strategies to validate platform-specific features, ensuring seamless integration with cloud services and browser extensions
Developing methods for stress testing, performance testing, and reliability testing for long-running backend agents
