The Staff Security Program Manager should possess strong program management capabilities and a strategic mindset, with experience leading security policy updates and implementation, representing the security team during external audits, and maintaining robust security standards. This role requires expertise in Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) planning, risk assessment, and developing continuity strategies, as well as experience in establishing procedures for emergency response teams and conducting technical recovery process. Additionally, the candidate should have experience driving end-user security awareness programs, developing employee security awareness training programs, and managing security metrics. Finally, the individual needs to conduct assessments of external vendors to evaluate security posture and track security compliance for third-party vendors.
The Staff Security Program Manager will lead security policy updates and implementation across the organization, represent the security team during external audits, continuously update and improve internal security policies, lead and develop a robust Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery plan, conduct a Risk Assessment & Business Impact Analysis (BIA), lead and develop technical recovery process for IT systems, establish procedures for the emergency response team, drive and support an end-user security awareness program, establish and maintain an employee security awareness training program, develop and manage security metrics, provide regular reports and insights to leadership, and conduct assessments of external vendors to evaluate security posture and track security compliance for third-party vendors, oversee security-related projects and initiatives, and reduce, eliminate issues, identify dependencies in the programs, and mitigate risks.
