Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in computer and data analysis skills
  • Good working knowledge of industry economic software, including ARIES
  • Ability to use production curve analysis (Arps) to forecast reserve recoveries from reservoirs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines

  • Experience with Unconventional Permian Basin assets

Responsibilities

  • Conducts decline curve analysis to generate short and long-term production forecasts to support budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making
  • Designs and optimizes well spacing, completions strategies, and field development plans to enhance recovery, maximize economics, and minimize costs
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations on potential acquisitions and divestitures
  • Develops and maintains type curves and economic analyses for various AOIs
  • Progresses well approvals from concept through executive approval. Communicates trade-offs clearly
  • Collaborates with the Well Performance team to incorporate reservoir simulations, PVT, RTA, and other diagnostic tools into asset-level reservoir characterization
  • Continually progresses the asset’s reserves strategy throughout the year
  • Other duties as assigned
