Requirements

  • Highly experienced in product design, particularly in Web3, decentralized services, DApps, and protocols
  • Ability to translate complexity of smart contracts, governance models, and token economics into intuitive user experiences
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering and protocol teams, understanding technical constraints and opportunities of blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2s)
  • Expertise in designing for immutability, high-security interfaces (e.g., wallets, staking), and self-custody
  • Proficiency in rapidly designing, prototyping, and testing features, especially reducing friction in Web3 flows (wallet connection, transaction signing, gas fees, seed phrase security)
  • Passionate about decentralization, with ability to work in ambiguous environments with moving regulations

Responsibilities

  • Lead Web3 Design Initiatives: Define, own, and deliver end-to-end design for core decentralized services, DApps, and protocols
  • Collaborate Across the Chain: Work closely with engineering and protocol teams to understand blockchain constraints and opportunities
  • Advocate for Decentralized Design Systems: Champion flexible yet robust design systems for high-security Web3 interfaces
  • Prototype with Precision & Speed: Rapidly design, prototype, and test new features to reduce friction in Web3 user flows
  • Mentor and Grow the Guild: Mentor Product Designers on decentralization challenges, including education, security, and self-custody; lead design critiques on crypto UX best practices
  • Make it feel native: Design seamless experiences for Crypto and FIAT currencies
