Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analysis, preferably in technology product development or enterprise software, and a related technical degree. Expertise in at least one programming language for data science (e.g., Python, R), experience with large-scale data technologies (e.g., Spark, Presto, Hive, Hadoop), and strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing skills are required. Experience designing and implementing advanced data models with scalability and efficiency, and applying advanced quant measurement techniques in a product development environment are also necessary. Expertise in Apache Airflow is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

The Staff Product Data Scientist will apply advanced data science techniques to analyze product usage patterns, identify key drivers of product growth, and define/report key success metrics. They will communicate insights to leadership, synthesize insights across product areas, and serve as a domain expert guiding best practices and advancing data science methodologies. The role involves championing evidence-based decision-making and making data and insights accessible and scalable for stakeholders.
