Prior experience as a Staff or District Support Pharmacist
Ability to complete a self-paced, collaborative training roadmap (virtual and hands-on) within 3-6 months

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care through safe and appropriate dispensing, meaningful counseling, and immunizing practices
Support the Pharmacy Manager by exhibiting best practices while working the bench, including quarterbacking the team
Oversee the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts without overlap, including coaching team members and providing performance feedback
Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty
Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and directing adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance/medication issues
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations, and support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory by following and coaching best practices, with focus on cold chain products
Strengthen pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching, consistent follow-up, and feedback
Partner with the Pharmacy Manager in managing, overseeing, and operating all aspects of the pharmacy as readiness increases
