Requirements

Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and be currently licensed as a pharmacist in the state where the position is located. Prior experience as a Staff Pharmacist or District Support Pharmacist is required, along with demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

As a PMEL, you will participate in a self-paced training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacy Manager role, delivering care, modeling values, and mentoring the pharmacy team. You will support the home store Pharmacy Manager by exhibiting best practices when working the bench, including quarterbacking the team, providing patients with meaningful counseling, and complying with all legal and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will take on greater accountability for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy, including dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices, as well as providing feedback to pharmacy team members.
