Requirements
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in pharmaceutical care, information, and best practices
- Ability to provide expert advice and guidance to others

- Compliance with company, legal, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations, including Board of Pharmacy statutes
- Skills in analyzing/interpreting reports, implementing/monitoring loss prevention, safety controls, and quality assurance
- Ability to maintain confidential information, documentation, and records per company and regulatory guidelines
- Capability to administer immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs
- Experience in processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
- Proficiency in customer service approaches, counseling on health care and prescription needs, and resolving complaints/issues
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing/dispensing prescription orders, counseling on health care/medication needs, and maintaining confidentiality/controlled medications/documentation
- Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice, supporting customer/business needs, and building commitment
- Implement business solutions by building stakeholder relationships, identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes
- Model, enforce, and guide associates on customer service techniques to resolve needs/complaints within company guidelines
- Model compliance with policies/procedures, incorporate ethics/integrity into business plans, and assist others in application
- Ensure compliance by analyzing reports, implementing/monitoring controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and guiding strategic initiatives
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including dispensing orders, administering immunizations/programs in compliance with regulations
- Create a culture of patient care safety/accuracy, set expectations, ensure accountability for SOPs, provide counseling/documentation, analyze improvements, promote error reporting, and write action plans
- Foster compliance execution environment, communicate/train on initiatives, implement/monitor priorities, ensure billing/HIPAA/SOP adherence, and utilize auditing for improvements
