Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of employment. They should have at least two years of experience as a pharmacist, demonstrating a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles and patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to build rapport with patients and provide empathetic support.
The Staff Pharmacist will counsel patients on their medications, ensuring they understand proper usage and potential side effects. They will accurately process prescription orders, dispense medications, and maintain detailed records of all patient interactions. Additionally, the pharmacist will administer immunizations, maintain controlled substance inventory, and provide support to the pharmacy team by modeling excellent customer service techniques and contributing to community outreach events.
