Requirements

  • Passion for improving and expanding possibilities in Cardiovascular, particularly electrophysiology catheters and systems
  • Ability to work within cross-functional project teams through all phases of the product development process, from planning to product launch
  • Experience working closely with project core team members (R&D, Quality Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, Planning, External Manufacturers)
  • Skills in defining user needs, generating design concepts and prototypes
  • Proficiency in performing design evaluations (e.g., tolerance analysis, FEA, DOEs, simulated use testing)
  • Capability to support development of product and process validation plans and testing
  • Involvement in test method development and evaluation of proposed designs
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturability and produce prototypes
  • Understanding of design controls and development processes
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interfacing with others in the project team
  • Ability to provide advice and mentorship to less experienced personnel
