Requirements

Passion for improving and expanding possibilities in Cardiovascular, particularly electrophysiology catheters and systems
Ability to work within cross-functional project teams through all phases of the product development process, from planning to product launch
Experience working closely with project core team members (R&D, Quality Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, Planning, External Manufacturers)
Skills in defining user needs, generating design concepts and prototypes
Proficiency in performing design evaluations (e.g., tolerance analysis, FEA, DOEs, simulated use testing)
Capability to support development of product and process validation plans and testing
Involvement in test method development and evaluation of proposed designs
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturability and produce prototypes
Understanding of design controls and development processes
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective interfacing with others in the project team
Ability to provide advice and mentorship to less experienced personnel

Responsibilities

Supporting project teams in the development of electrophysiology catheters and systems
Collaborating with R&D, Quality engineers, and External Manufacturers to develop new product designs within a cross-functional team environment
Developing innovative Product Management solutions for heart rhythm disorders
Establishing the relationship between product design features and selected manufacturing methods
