  • Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a medical devices manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders. (Desired)
  • Proven Project Management skills with delivery of business-critical projects. (Desired)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technically, provide direction, and influence decision-making. (Desired)

Responsibilities

  • Specify precise new equipment functional requirements; design, test, and integrate components to produce final designs; evaluate design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
  • Design, develop, execute, and evaluate process specifications and validation plans; create and review material part specifications and bills of materials
  • Develop and implement supporting documentation, SOPs, and process work instructions in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for Process/Maintenance Technicians and other Manufacturing/Equipment Engineers
  • Lead process validation activities (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ) and associated documentation
  • Apply Value Centred Engineering principles to achieve improvements in quality, service, and cost
  • Support the development of a world-class manufacturing group through process improvement and problem-solving using Six Sigma tools
  • Monitor line performance, analyse data, and execute structured event plans to resolve systemic issues affecting operational performance
