Role

Security Engineer, DevSecOps

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4 years in security engineering, DevSecOps, or a related field.
  • CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Scripting/Programming: Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or Ruby).
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Security Fundamentals: Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response.
  • Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools (vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, compliance automation).
  • Industry Focus: Technology, SaaS, FinTech, or Cloud Services. Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare) is a plus.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Nice-to-have skills/experiences

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.).
  • Security certifications (AWS Architect, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, SANS/GIAC).
  • Experience in automating security processes and monitoring.
