Requirements

Candidates should possess 2-4 years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or a related field, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or Ruby) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) are required. Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response is also necessary. Familiarity with security tools (vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, compliance automation) is desired.

Responsibilities

The Security Engineer, DevSecOps will integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), monitor and maintain security infrastructure, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents. They will also leverage automation to improve security processes and contribute to compliance efforts with frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
