Requirements

Candidates should possess strong backend development skills with experience from problem to deployment, proficiency in modern web technologies like Vite, TypeScript, and Python, and expertise with AI-native coding tools. Experience building AI systems, including MCPs, Agents, and LLM provider APIs, is required, along with intellectual curiosity, strong debugging skills, and the ability to own and solve difficult problems independently. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical leadership skills are essential, as is a growth mindset, resourcefulness, and a bias towards action.

Responsibilities

The Staff Fullstack Engineer will design and implement integrations for new external platforms to expand Grapevine's knowledge scope, build fundamental systems like the Privacy/Governance engine, and craft delightful product experiences. They will also build prototypes for company-specific AI applications, mentor other engineers on AI applications, and contribute to core functionality across the ingestion stack and product surfaces, including UI, MCP, and Slack interfaces.
