Requirements

  • 10+ years hands-on experience with ERP financial modules, including Revenue & Fixed Assets
  • Strong understanding of global accounting, GL Revaluation & Translation, multi-entity consolidation, and multi-currency/FX impacts
  • Strong understanding of how to customize SLAs and process of Subledger (AR/FA) JEs gets posted in General Ledger and its related impact
  • Direct experience with ASC-606 revenue recognition and high-volume usage-based revenue
  • Hands-on development skills in OOP and vibe coding
  • Experience integrating ERP with: product billing/usage platforms (internal or SaaS), CRM (Salesforce preferred), data pipelines & warehouses (e.g., Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift), payment platforms
  • Strong SQL and API engineering fundamentals (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML)
  • Architecting the RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions) applicable to the ERP systems
  • Experience in SOX-compliant environments and financial control design
  • Familiar with version control (Git) and structured SDLC/agile SCRUM
  • Residing in the United States or Canada

Responsibilities

  • Architect and enhance Order-to-Revenue, Subscription/Usage billing, and Revenue Recognition workflows across ERP + adjacent systems (preferred: Experience with Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service/NetSuite)
  • Design and support scalable usage-based billing, multi-currency pricing, deferred revenue, and ASC-606-compliant rev-rec implementation
  • Integrate ERP with product platform billing engines, data pipelines, CRM, payment systems, and data warehouse
  • Partner with Finance and Data teams to ensure integrity of high-volume revenue feeds and period close accuracy
  • Build control frameworks ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit trail across revenue systems
  • Design and automate asset lifecycle accounting — acquisition, Asset Addition/Adjustment/Capitalization, depreciation, impairment, disposal
  • Support tracking for millions of distributed assets across global markets
  • Enable automation for asset capitalization, component tracking, transfers, and depreciation events
  • Build reliable and auditable integration patterns across ERP, inventory systems, and IoT/operations platforms
  • Translate business needs into scalable architectures and technical specifications
  • Influence ERP engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and development governance
  • Collaborate with enterprise product, data engineering, and security to design scalable & secure systems
  • Stay current on ERP capabilities, revenue automation tools, asset accounting automation trends
