Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years in software testing with at least 3+ years in a QA architect role
  • Strong experience in test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.)
  • Expertise in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner)
  • Experience with mobile testing using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest
  • Experience with cloud-based and containerized environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in database testing using SQL queries
  • Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and shift-left testing methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Establish and apply test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to boost software quality and efficiency
  • Build, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks for web and API testing
  • Embrace and champion development methodologies that prioritize software quality through rigorous testing practices
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct API, UI, mobile, and database testing to ensure end-to-end quality
  • Establish test metrics and benchmarks to measure software quality and process efficiency
  • Guide and mentor test engineers on automation guidelines and advanced testing techniques
  • Assess and deploy new testing technologies and tools to improve efficiency
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security testing strategies align with business needs
  • Review and provide recommendations for improving test case coverage and defect prevention
  • Contribute to shift-left testing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
