Requirements

  • 10+ years in data-focused roles, with 5+ years in a senior architecture or principal-level role designing large-scale data platforms
  • Demonstrable track record of personally designing, building, and optimizing complex, large-scale data pipelines from the ground up
  • Proven ability to break down complex data problems into discrete, testable, and maintainable components
  • Ability to partner directly with data science to translate modeling and fusion needs into scalable, performant architectural solutions that align with product goals
  • Exceptional asynchronous communication skills for a remote team and a passion for data quality, testing, and security
  • Ability to work during US business hours, preferably based in a US time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific)

Responsibilities

  • Architect the “Next-Generation” Platform: Audit current GCP pipeline and design the blueprint for a modular, scalable data platform supporting growth goals
  • Own the Stack: Act as the hands-on “chief designer” and technical authority for the modern data stack
  • Solve Complex Data Fusion: Design and systematize architecture for complex, parallel data processing, including subsystems and data models for entity resolution and identity stitching
  • Implement Privacy-First Design: Architect platform to handle PII and security from the ground up, leading design and implementation of Data Clean Room technologies and other privacy-preserving techniques
  • Bridge Data Science to Production: Partner with data science to translate advanced behavior modeling and fusion needs into performant, reliable, and scalable production data models and architectures
  • Govern & Enable: Decompose architecture into clear subsystems, data contracts, and development tasks; define and enforce standards for the remote-first engineering team to build with quality and velocity
