Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Experience with observability tools like DataDog, CloudWatch
  • Experience with logging tools and frameworks like SolarWinds, Splunk
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, design patterns, and code versioning tools like Git
  • Experience managing databases and caching technologies on cloud
  • Experience with security scanning tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes
  • Create reusable patterns and templates to simplify builds and releases across multiple services and teams
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Support containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKS
  • Design, build, and maintain observability platforms spanning metrics, logs, traces, and events to enable comprehensive system visibility
  • Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects that enhance deployment speed, cost efficiency, and platform reliability
  • Champion best practices in software reliability, security, and scalability across the engineering organization
  • Coach and mentor engineers on platform architecture, DevOps principles, and modern implementation strategies
  • Embed with engineering teams to assist in adopting new technologies, troubleshoot complex issues, and solve problems that span multiple domains
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to improve tooling, automation, process, developer experience, and the overall engineering ecosystem
  • Automate everything - from deployments to monitoring - to simplify operations and scale your impact
  • Implement and manage secrets management, logging, alerts, and backup strategies
