Requirements

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred, along with proficiency in Excel, BI 360, MS Dynamics GP, and familiarity with Salesforce. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with keen attention to detail, are essential.

Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will calculate and track commissions, bonuses, and 401K contributions, ensuring timely submission to Payroll and reporting to recipients. They will prepare journal entries to record all payroll activity, commissions, and bonus accruals, reconcile payroll-related GL accounts, and provide training on commission processes. Furthermore, the role involves preparing and maintaining analyses related to compensation data, providing documentation and support for auditors and tax authorities, and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
