  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2-5 years of accounting work experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile daily cash transactions across multiple bank accounts, including auto debits, manual wires, and sweep transfers
  • Analyze existing cash processes; identify and implement solutions to optimize the cash application process
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to resolve outstanding checks and maintain a clean cash ledger
  • Prepare and analyze monthly cash reports for senior management
  • Lead and execute assigned tasks during the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met with precision
  • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts, proactively investigating and resolving any variances
  • Maintain the fixed asset subledger, ensuring all fixed asset transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with accounting guidelines
  • Record prepaid expenses and manage their corresponding amortization schedules
  • Contribute to financial projects, such as accounting for corporate credit card expenses and employee travel expense accruals
  • Compile, analyze, and prepare journal entries, while providing appropriate supporting documentation
  • Ability to take on other Accounting functions to allow for cross training and career development
  • Assist with the annual audit by preparing detailed schedules and providing clear, organized documentation to external auditors
  • Support pre-audit preparation to uphold the organization’s record of clean audits
