Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Solid understanding of US GAAP principles
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Handle general accounting duties, including journal entry development and input
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Conduct financial statement analysis
Manage and own the month-end close process
Research variances in account balances and assist the finance team in explaining actuals to forecast differences
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in documenting updated procedures and internal controls
Implement processes and document controls to ensure SOX compliant internal control environment
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
Assist with special projects and additional general ledger accounting responsibilities as assigned
