Requirements

  • 5+ years of Workday configuration experience
  • Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, etc
  • Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences
  • Advanced skills in Workday HCM along with two other supporting modules
  • Ability to lead process discussions which will result in overall system design

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs/requirements
  • Assist junior team members on advanced system concepts, configuration and reporting
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security), implement new functionality, and actively participate in major projects as needed
  • Work with internal teams and AMS support to properly configure Workday
  • Apply technical expertise to the most complex HRIS issues
  • Establish plans for ongoing enhancements and support of the Workday platform as a whole
  • Assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including user management, role changes, data changes and analysis as needed
  • Support security management
  • Support ongoing enhancements, data changes, testing, reporting, and general platform and end-user support
  • Develop and modify reports, analytics, metrics and dashboards for management and functional Workday users
  • Assist in managing and testing Workday major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and communicating appropriately with the various business unit leads
  • Work with the various business units to prepare and upload Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass data entry
  • Actively participate in Workday Community and User Groups to identify any potential issues as well as identify any new solutions to existing issues
  • Work independently with great team spirit
  • Take full ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks and communicate status accurately to management and teams
  • Other duties as assigned
