Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in threat intelligence and malware research methodologies.
The Sr. Threat Researcher II will analyze malware samples to understand their functionality and develop strategies to detect and prevent them within the Falcon platform. They will perform reverse engineering, behavioral analysis, and pathfinding research to identify new threats and improve Falcon’s detection capabilities. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with other teams to integrate research findings into the product and contributing to the overall threat landscape understanding.
