Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 9 years' experience OR Associate’s Degree and 7 years' experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years' experience OR Master’s Degree and 3 years' experience
  • Ability to engage in travel as reasonably required, including regular travel within the assigned territory (Arkansas and East OK, including Tulsa metro)
  • Live within the territory (Arkansas/Tulsa); relocation not available
  • Satisfaction of any onsite visitation requirements of healthcare providers

Responsibilities

  • Represent Oncology products and services to a defined customer base, generate and grow sales, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets within the specific geographic area
  • Prepare a business plan for the territory to achieve goals and initiate systems to monitor sales progress and action plans
  • Identify patient pathways within oncology offices in the assigned territory and facilitate patient access to treatment
  • Promote assigned products to targeted oncologists and office staff, in-service all staff to ensure safe and appropriate drug administration, and make staff aware of Gilead patient services
  • Establish and develop business relationships with key customers, accounts, and relevant key opinion leaders
  • Experience in hospital and large account sales, managing through complex reimbursement issues (implied as key capability)
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and ability to influence others; represent Gilead at professional events and promote company products
  • Partner with Medical Scientists, Marketing, and Market Access on cross-functional projects to drive sales and patient adoption
  • Demonstrate leadership among peers by consistent application and modeling of appropriate compliance, behavior, and conduct
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of issues and opportunities; communicate proactively to Marketing and Sales management
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks promptly, e.g., updating customer database, expenses
  • Ensure all department personnel are fully informed of and in compliance with Gilead commercial compliance policy, applicable federal and state laws, and guidance relating to product promotion and information dissemination (e.g., Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code, OIG Guidance)
