Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and managing product backlogs
Ability to prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility
Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, microservices, and architecture designs
Good knowledge of Linux system
Good knowledge of source code and artifact repositories (Git, GitHub, Gitlab and/or similar tools)
Strong experience in Java language and experience / openness to use others like Python, C++, Go
Software Engineering background, with experience in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Experience in managing expectations and aligning stakeholders on product goals
Strong analytical mindset to assess feature impact, dependencies, and risks
Familiar with containerization and Kubernetes (plus)
Able to work under minimal supervision and open to collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

Interact with customers/stakeholders in requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products
Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product
Routinely collaborate with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors
Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas
Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing
Collaborate with PM for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases
Own and manage the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
Collaborate with Product Managers/TPMs to decompose features into consumable user stories
Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit
Partner with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy development process
