Candidates must be based in Brazil and possess B1 level English proficiency. Required technical skills include 8+ years of software engineering experience, 5+ years with Java or Golang in production, and 2+ years with AWS services like SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and S3. Strong experience in microservices architecture, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred) is necessary. Professional experience in the payments industry is also required. Desirable qualifications include experience with the ISO8583 protocol, PCI compliance, Kubernetes, Docker, event-driven architecture, observability practices, and high-scale environments, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java, adhering to clean code principles and best practices. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure microservices, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver technical solutions. The role involves leveraging AWS services, using Terraform for infrastructure management, writing unit and integration tests, monitoring application health, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architectural discussions for continuous improvement and innovation.
