Requirements

Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws/regulations, Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures, and guidelines
Experience in facilities management, including soft services such as cleaning (GxP and non-GxP), laundry, pest control, grounds maintenance, mail logistics, waste management, workplace management, light duty maintenance, building maintenance, physical security, and food services
Ability to supervise supervisors and individual contributors, including performance management, development, evaluation, and discipline
Skills in contractor/vendor management, cost estimation, and property oversight
Familiarity with GxP and non-GxP cleaning operations, maintenance documentation, pest control reports, design drawings, specifications, and budgeting
Capability to manage administrative functions, work orders, permits, and compliance with safety practices, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations for soft services activities (cleaning, laundry, pest control, grounds maintenance, mail logistics, waste management, workplace management, light duty maintenance, building maintenance, physical security, food services) through supervisors
Assign and coordinate allocation of building space, layout, communication services, facility expansion, and energy efficiency
Assist in developing property oversight, contractor management, service cost estimation, and vendor selection
Prioritize and monitor work progress, develop plans for cleaning and maintenance operations, maintain FM documentation (maintenance/cleaning records, pest control reports, drawings, specifications, budget)
Implement and comply with company safety practices, recognize/reward safe behavior
Supervise, develop, evaluate, and discipline staff; ensure guidance and tools for performance
Coordinate interactions among technicians, engineers, contractors, and customers
Perform administrative functions for facilities department, including work order coordination, distribution, organization, and updating of files
Support maintenance staff and contractors with work instructions, follow-ups, parts, permits, and status updates
Ensure availability of permits and appropriate materials for maintenance
Communicate maintenance clarifications, priorities, and special instructions; oversee moves and relocations
Implement environmentally safe maintenance plans and strategies
Advise team on policies/procedures for compliance and achievement of Facilities/Grounds, Custodial, Cleaning & Laundry objectives
Manage operational aspects of the team
