This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week in Chantilly, VA, with no relocation offered. It is an onsite role in the Network Operations Center.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking knowledge, ability to diagnose complex routing issues, and advanced understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP troubleshooting.
The role involves working in a 24/7/365 operational support environment with flexible hours, including off-shifts, nights, and weekends. Specifically, they are looking for 3rd Shift M-F (10pm-6am) in the NOC.
Previous experience in a NOC environment and troubleshooting faults in a complex network environment are required, along with ITIL knowledge/experience which is desirable.
A strong candidate must be flexible with shift work, demonstrate excellent communication skills at technical and non-technical levels, show a sense of urgency and customer advocacy, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced SLA-driven environment.
