  • CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking knowledge
  • Ability to diagnose complex routing issues
  • Advanced understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP troubleshooting/problem determination
  • Advanced WAN troubleshooting/problem determination (Expert Required)
  • TCP/IP, MPLS, QoS, and routing protocol troubleshooting (Expert Required)
  • Frame Relay, ISDN, ATM, Private Line (Expert Required)

  • Willingness to work 3rd Shift M-F (10pm-6am) in a 24/7/365 operational support environment, including off-shifts, nights, weekends, and substitute rotations
  • Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA (office presence 5 days per week)
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Monitor for, troubleshoot, and manage incidents for Wide Area Network (WAN) and/or Local Area Network (LAN) environments for large, custom global enterprise network deployments
  • Provide advanced tier 2 technical support of WAN/LAN networks for domestic and global clients in a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC)
  • Use AT&T’s SERVICENOW network monitoring platform to monitor for, troubleshoot, and manage fault conditions for custom managed network clients
  • Dynamically multitask on complex, diverse issues and work with customers in a fast-paced SLA-driven environment
  • Document and communicate findings clearly, internally and externally, at technical and non-technical levels with peers, management, and customers
  • Jump into any issue, follow custom processes, technically lead troubleshooting efforts of internal and external entities, accurately and quickly diagnose/isolate network incident sources, and take action to restore service
  • Adapt to and drive change
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency and customer advocacy to correct problems on clients’ behalf
