Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
6+ years direct experience supporting or testing major application product release
Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing
Experience with JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, or other open source/commercial market-leading solutions for functional, regression, or performance test automation
Collaborate in a team environment with both on-shore and off-shore resources
Expertise working with one or both of C#/.NET ecosystem or Java/JVM ecosystem
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language

Responsibilities

Both manual and automated testing: Run and read automated test scripts, own prioritisation of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently and identify opportunities to automate functional tests
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Quality Engineers in test plan creation & execution to ensure proper test coverage
Serve as a test lead or point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards
Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers. Become a SME in the product domain
Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices
Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
Reporting team/project metrics
