Requirements

Candidates should have recent experience (last 2 years) as a Lead Software Engineer in an early-stage, high-growth, fast-paced Startup team, and ideally 3+ years leading Enterprise SaaS application development. They should possess experience with Python/Django, React, AWS, Kubernetes, RDS/Postgres, Redis or Elasticache, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Software Engineer - Team Lead will design, implement, test, and deploy product features across the company’s stack, including AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres (RDS), Redis, SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB, utilizing Python/Django, React, and Tailwind / Material-UI. They will evolve the system architecture for performance, reliability, security, and economy, drive engineering best practices such as code review and automated testing, mentor and manage the engineering team, estimate and communicate delivery timelines, monitor and resolve production issues, provide technical support to CS & Sales, contribute to hiring and onboarding, and ensure SOC 2 compliance.
