Responsibilities

Serve as lead engineer for a portfolio of over 20 applications and services, providing technical guidance and mentorship
Lead and mentor junior team members, offering coaching, technical direction, and career development
Design and maintain distributed messaging systems interfacing warehouse management systems with enterprise data planes
Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform for AWS resources, ensuring scalability and security
Monitor cloud service usage, forecast budgets, and optimize AWS resources for cost-efficiency
Build and maintain resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC tools and Kubernetes (EKS)
Write clean, maintainable, efficient code in Java, adhering to coding standards
Conduct thorough code reviews of pull requests for quality and alignment
Improve operational reliability, scalability, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Participate in on-call rotation for system uptime
Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
Oversee and perform testing at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new technologies
