Position Overview

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join our growing Charlotte AI Engineering Team. This role involves building globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystems using Golang and Large Language Models (LLMs). While prior experience with Golang and LLMs is helpful, it is not strictly required. CrowdStrike is committed to mentoring and training in security topics, so prior experience in the computer security industry is not a prerequisite for this role. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in CrowdStrike's mission and a willingness to engage with the needs of our product teams and customers.

CrowdStrike has been a pioneer in AI-powered protection, integrating it across its platform for over a decade. Leveraging recent advancements in LLMs, CrowdStrike introduced Charlotte AI, a generative AI security analyst. Charlotte AI utilizes high-fidelity security data and is seamlessly integrated with CrowdStrike's threat hunters, managed detection and response operators, and incident response experts. This innovative engine empowers users of all skill levels to leverage the Falcon Platform's data, reducing security operations complexity and cost.

Responsibilities

• Advance backend microservices, identifying and addressing critical concerns to implement effective solutions.
• Utilize established CrowdStrike tools and services to build cloud solutions for detecting and countering targeted cyber assaults.
• Innovate with Large Language Models to develop and refine Charlotte AI's capabilities.
• Construct and maintain data pipelines, engage in data upkeep, and contribute to the training and implementation of custom LLMs.
• Collaborate across various teams to brainstorm, define, and devise solutions.
• Commit to ongoing learning and self-improvement.
• Stay attuned to customer challenges, always seeking ways to enhance support.
• Emphasize top-tier coding quality by adhering to best practices, rigorous testing, and thorough logging and metrics.
• Work within a collaborative and agile team environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems).
