Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, or relevant experience considered
Software development experience of at least 5 years
Proven foundation in computer science with strong proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Excellent knowledge in architectural and design patterns, open-source platforms, frameworks, technologies, and software engineering methodologies
Hands-on experience in Java/Node.js/C++ or any object oriented language used in building scalable applications
Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS and NoSQL
Experience working in resolving bottlenecks and improving system performance
Experience working to solve issues in distributed systems
Abundant knowledge on large scale distributed systems
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Hardworking and self-motivated

Responsibilities

Design and build a distributed system with high security, high transaction rate and high availability
Collaborate with architects in defining the technical charter for eBay’s Risk products
Work with partners to clarify requirements and deliver business solutions
Champion standard methodologies within software development including the use of AI in code development and delivery
Work closely with partners located in various locations
