Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medizintechnik, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, technical mathematics, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably within an agile environment. Proficiency in Embedded C and C++ is required, along with familiarity with Unit Tests, software development methodologies, and toolchains, knowledge of Embedded Real-time Operating Systems, UML modeling languages, and experience with norm-compliant development in the medical technology sector adhering to DIN EN 62304 and EN ISO 13485. Excellent German and English language skills are also necessary.
The Sr. Software Development Engineer – Product Development will be responsible for developing firmware for microcontrollers using C/C++, designing solutions for implementing software development methodologies and toolchains, participating in cross-functional and international teams, continuously improving the quality of laboratory automation solutions, and collaborating with other teams to achieve project goals.
