Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO roadmaps across technical, content, GEO/localization, and AEO initiatives
  • Manage SEO agency relationships—setting strategy, ensuring accountability, and driving measurable ROI
  • Act as a trusted partner across teams, ensuring SEO strategy aligns with company priorities
  • Lead technical audits to resolve crawl, indexation, schema, performance, and site architecture issues
  • Partner with engineering to scale site performance and optimize for speed, reliability, and scalability
  • Implement automated interlinking and scalable sitewide SEO enhancements
  • Guide content and editorial teams on keyword targeting, scalable topic clustering, and structured data
  • Develop and oversee scalable link-building programs that strengthen domain authority and visibility
  • Drive SEO initiatives that increase organic traffic and engagement to News & Insights
  • Design and run SEO experiments (A/B, multivariate) to validate hypotheses and inform strategy
  • Use data-driven insights to refine tactics and continuously optimize for both users and search engines
  • Define SEO KPIs and build reporting dashboards covering rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI
  • Deliver regular performance updates and insights across the Digital Team and leadership
  • Stay ahead of evolving algorithms, GEO/AEO opportunities, and SEO best practices
  • Champion emerging tactics and technologies that keep PitchBook competitive
  • Lead SEO strategy for a high-impact digital growth channel with visibility across the business
  • Manage an SEO agency and partner with internal teams to scale programs globally
  • Drive growth in targeted organic traffic to News & Insights and other priority sections of PitchBook.com
