Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, with 5 or more years in designing, developing, and testing software applications or infrastructure. Proficiency in Python or another programming language for scripting and automation is required, along with a solid understanding of machine learning concepts and GenAI models. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to diagnose and resolve data-related issues, creative thinking for process improvement, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Experience with test management tools like ADO or JIRA, automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, test data management tools, and API testing tools is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will code software applications based on business requirements and analyze situations or data requiring in-depth evaluation. They will standardize quality enablement approaches, research solutions, and make recommendations for complex software issues. Responsibilities include developing and supporting software quality tools, creating and enhancing automation tools, exploring AI-based testing solutions, conducting manual testing, designing test cases, developing test data, documenting and resolving complex issues, devising improvements to procedures, conducting workflow analyses, recommending quality enhancements, communicating progress on problem resolution, and acting as an information resource for agile delivery team members with quality solutions and test tool guidance.
